SPONSOR, JOIN, RENEW

Since the primary format for these books is open access, we are seeking to gather support through memberships, sponsorships, advertising. The goal is to create sponsorship and membership packages that would be a great value for our supporters while to making the project financially sustainable. We offer three ways to participate:

Membership

Basic Annual Membership

Includes:

  • Listing on Charleston Briefings website;
  • Branding included on promotional efforts (emails, blog posts, social media, etc) recognizing supporters;
  • Web badge to show your support of OA Digital Publishing initiatives;
  • Invitation to member-only events at the Charleston Library Conference and other meetings.

Gold Annual Membership

Includes:

  • Listing on Charleston Briefings website with identification as Gold Member;
  • Branding included on promotional efforts (emails, blog posts, social media, etc) recognizing supporters;
  • Web badge to show your support of OA Digital Publishing initiatives;
  • Invitation to member-only events at the Charleston Library Conference and other meetings;
  • *One-time use of the Against the Grain or Charleston Conference mailing list.

Platinum Annual Membership

Includes:

  • Listing on Charleston Briefings website with identification as Platinum Member;
  • Branding included on all promotional efforts (emails, blog posts, social media, etc) recognizing supporters;
  • Web badge to show your support of OA Digital Publishing initiatives;
  • Invitation to member-only events at the Charleston Library Conference and other meetings;
  • *One-time use of the Against the Grain mailing list;
  • Use of a VIP Hospitality Suite at the Charleston Library Conference for customer meetings.

*A copy of the email or mailing piece must be sent to Leah Hinds for approval prior to the mailing list being released.

Sponsorship

Individual Title Sole Sponsorship

Your company would be the sole sponsor of a title from the Charleston Briefings. Benefits include:

  • Full page ad on the inside front cover of the book (e-book and print);
  • Name and logo placement on the Charleston Briefings website in association with the book;
  • Name and logo in all emails and press releases surrounding the book’s release;
  • *One featured blog post on Against the Grain website;
  • **One-time use of Against the Grain or Charleston Conference email list;
  • Inclusion in book promotional events, including webinars, podcasts, conference sessions, etc.

Individual Title Co-Sponsorship

Your company would be one of two sponsors associated with a title from the Charleston Briefings series. Benefits include:

  • Half page ad on the inside front cover of the book (e-book and print). Ad placement in order of sponsorship confirmation – the first sponsor confirmed would have the top half of the page;
  • Name and logo placement on the Charleston Briefings website in association with the book;
  • Name and logo in all emails and press releases surrounding the book’s release;
  • **One-time use of Against the Grain or Charleston Conference email list.
  • Inclusion in book promotional events, including webinars, podcasts, conference sessions, etc.

*Blog post must be approved by Tom Gilson, Associate Editor for Against the Grain.
**A copy of the email or mailing piece must be sent to Leah Hinds for approval prior to the mailing list being released.

Advertising

The following advertising options may be purchased separately from any sponsorship or membership package:

  • Full page ad, inside back cover: $1,200
  • Half page ad, inside back cover: $975
  • One-time Use of Against the Grain Email List (self send): $750
  • Web banner ad on Charleston Briefings Website: $650 (60 day placement, rectangular banner size 300 x 250.)

All of these options can be purchased separately, or combined to show support in more than one way and to receive multiple levels of benefits. We are also open to other suggestions on ways to support the project that aren’t listed here. Thank you for your support of open access scholarly publishing!
